I was recently sent a set of reusable organic cotton rounds from Freon Collective. They are a Toronto-based company who make eco-friendly minimalist beauty products. Their reusable cotton rounds are made with pre-shrunk organic cotton that is printed with water-based ink. They come in a variety of chic, minimalist prints in pastel shades.
I have been interested in picking up a set of reusable cotton pads for quite a while now, so I was happy to receive these. I use cotton rounds to remove my eye makeup at the end of the day, before my evening skincare routine. I didn’t like that I just used them once and had to throw them away. These cotton rounds from Freon Collective provide an unlimited amount of uses, so theres no waste from day-to-day!
I picked out the marble print cotton rounds. I love these because the simple print is so elegant, not to mention super insta-worthy. I also like the grey marble swirl on the white background, because they will be less likely to show any staining from mascara after washing. I have been using them with my favourite Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water, and the combination has been great!
Each set of reusable organic cotton pads from Freon Collective comes with 15 rounds and a mesh bag. Since I typically only use these for eye makeup removal at night, the set lasts approximately two weeks before having to wash them. Washing is super easy! Just place the dirty ones in the included mesh bag, toss them in the washing machine with another load, and lay them flat to dry! Or you can gently hand wash them if you prefer. Tip: after taking them out of the dryer, press them flat and reshape them using a towel, and they will dry perfectly in shape!
I absolutely love that these are handmade in Toronto, they are an eco-friendly option, and they work just the same as the disposable kind! The organic cotton is super soft on my eyes, and of course, they look cute on my vanity!
Freon Collective now ships to Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, The Netherlands, The U.K., and The U.S.A. Each set is sold for $35 CAD.
